OBJECTIVES
The primary
aim of the Advanced Diploma programme is to enable candidates
to engage in extended academic analysis and to demonstrate a critical
knowledge of issues raised in the area of diplomatic and consular law
and
diplomacy practice. The secondary aim is to develop candidates confidence
and competence in the use of a range of forms of research relating to
diplomacy,
diplomatic and consular law instruments, cases and materials. Taken together,
this will provide a high quality learning experience for the candidate
combining the acquisition of specialised, professionally useful knowledge
and transferable skills in diplomacy studies, and, diplomatic and consular
law.
